How to Start a 501c3 Non – Profit

This is just a reminder that if you are interested in learning the steps of how to start a 501c3 non – profit for your organization, we have the perfect event for you! Join us Tuesday, January 9th at 7pm at the Dream Theater! Come out and listen to Lori Nuss talk about trade secrets in home holiday decorating and local artist A. Muller Fine Arts talk about the trade in natural, earthbound, prairie paintings. Opening Weekend

Good Morning Everyone!!

Just wanted to remind you all that Opening Weekend for Pheasant is THIS weekend!! There are many Hunters dinners going on throughout the county! If you need any hunting regulations or hunting atlas’ please stop by the Russell County Eco Devo & CVB Office (331 E Wichita) to get yours! If you aren’t able to make it during business hours, check  out their outdoor dispenser! Also, Sportsmans Corner can help out with your hunting necessities! Everyone be safe and have a great opening weekend!!

 

Busy weekend!

Good Morning Everyone!!

If you’re looking for things to do this weekend, you will not be disappointed! There is quite a bit going on in Russell County!! Friday we have the Homecoming Parade and game! Saturday, starting at 3pm at the Russell County Fairgrounds is the Russell Rumble Demolition Derby! Later that night there will be a live band at Waudby’s in downtown Russell!! In Lucas on Saturday, is the Sunflower Visual Arts Festival starting at 10am in Downtown Lucas! Also, happening Saturday is Opening weekend of Granny Mae’s in Dorrance!!

 

Make sure you get out about and enjoy all these events happening!

First Day of School

Good Afternoon Everyone!!

Just reminding you all that tomorrow, Wednesday, August 30th, is the first day of school for the kiddos in Russell! Please remember to slow down in the school zone areas, and let the kids at the cross – walk, cross. Remember, tomorrow is a half a day of school and the first full day will be Thursday! I hope everyone has a great year!!!

Russell County Free Fair

Just a friendly reminder that the Russell County Free Fair begins next week!! There is a great line up of entertainment!! So, grab your family and friends and head out to the Russell County Free Fair to enjoy the free entertainment, ride the rides, check out the booths and of course the 4-H kiddos displays!! The Russell County Eco Devo & CVB Office will be sponsoring the Free Watermelon Feed again this year on Thursday, July 27th, come out and see us!!

American Legion Baseball Fundraiser

Good Morning Everyone!!

Don’t forget to get out to the American Legion tomorrow for an authentic Mexican Dinner!! $8 minimum donation is required, all funds are going to help the Legion baseball teams this summer! There will also be a gun auction! I hope you all can get out tomorrow and enjoy this wonderful meal!! Have a wonderful day and enjoy this nice day!!
